Zip File Viewer

List paths, sizes, and dates inside a .zip without uploading. Optional text preview for small .txt/.json/.md files; download single files or use Create ZIP / Unzip for batch extract.

Inspect ZIP contents in your browser — no upload. Archives up to about 35 MB. Password-protected ZIPs are not supported. Use chevrons to open folders; click a file name or Preview for a side panel (images, PDF, text, audio, video). To batch extract, see Create ZIP / Unzip.

Drop a .zip file here or click to browse

Nothing is stored on a server — previews use memory only and clear when you close the panel.

What the ZIP viewer shows

After you choose a .zip from your computer, the tool parses the central directory and lists each entry: folders, file paths, size on disk inside the archive, and last-modified metadata when present. Unsafe paths are labeled so you know which names cannot be extracted here.

Text preview and downloads

For small text-like files (for example .txt, .json, .md, .csv) under a fixed byte limit, you can expand a row to preview UTF-8 text in the page. You may also download a single safe file. For batch extraction or building a new archive from a selection, use the Create ZIP / Unzip tool linked on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I preview images or PDFs inside the ZIP?

This viewer focuses on listing metadata and light text previews. Open extracted files in your usual apps after downloading them, or use dedicated image/PDF tools on Dynamic Duniya after export.

What are the size limits?

The same approximate per-archive megabyte cap applies as other client-side file tools on the site. Very large archives can still exhaust browser memory because the whole file is read in the tab.

Export PDF pages as JPEG or PNG images in your browser (Mozilla pdf.js + canvas). Pick render scale, optional page list, and JPEG quality. Multi-page exports download as a ZIP. Max ~35 MB file size and up to 1000 pages (browser memory is the practical limit — use page ranges for huge jobs) — nothing is uploaded.

Split: optional “Load page previews” then drag thumbnails (four per row, scrollable) to reorder pages before splitting by ranges or every N pages; ranges use preview slot numbers when previews are loaded. Zip when multiple parts. Client-side pdf.js + pdf-lib — max ~35 MB per file, 150 pages, 12 PDFs for merge.
